Total workout 50 min.

I had an afternoon class at Girya so I cut my workout a little short because I knew I would be swinging in class.....I had one of my students video me demonstrating a work set from my morning workout.

Typically with this twice a week class I'll swing along w/8kg, but I'll swing the entire 35-45 min, little or no rest!

Unexpectantly I ended the day with an hour long walk with my sister....damn, four workouts! It's been a while since I did that!

Life is good. It's good to be home.

Deb,

Thank you...I can never hear that enough...this is alot of work and effort, it's always nice to know it's appreciated by others.

Fawn,

But you probably use the freakin 16's, LOL

Hey, I found a recipe,(looking through a cookbook by Bruce Aidells on pork), for a salad made pork ears! I thought of you immediately because of the "crunchy cartilage thing" you like!

I used my pressure cooker yesterday and did your pork roast with apple cider etc... It wasn't as good as yours...of course...but it was my first time. I couldn't remember if you added salt before putting the lid on. I saw you season the meat really well before browning it...and I know beans are not cooked with salt, because it make them tough, supposedly...so I added salt after, and it was fine, of course...I'll keep trying.

I'm so freakin lucky to have had the time I had with you, (and Aaron) please don't think for one moment that it was anything less than freaking awesome for me.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

PS I've been grilling and roasting Delicata squash like crazy!

Tracy,

It would be my first official KB workout! I have the Goddess DVD at home but would prefer an in-person demo to get things going correctly.

:D

Tracy,

I know the thought is salt makes beans tough... so I don't add salt directly... but I do salt the meat heavily and I salt at the end. I believe you know from your training to salt all through the cooking process. I'm not so sure salt makes beans tough. I think the most important thing is cooking beans with things that have flavor, like mire poix veggies and herbs.

I always like other people's cooking better too. LOL!
