The definition of insanity.....doing the same thing and expecting different results.
Everything works, but nothing works forever.
Increased carbs
Smaller portions
More exact calorie count
More frequent meals
High volume, lighter bell KB's
Yoga everyday, sometimes twice a day

Congratulation Tracy!
Will you continue working out with the 12K for the full 4-6 weeks or is it time for you to go heavier? Thanks.

This is what works for me. Reducing portion size always induces the greatest change. It's easy to let portion sizes creep up; food is so accessible. Even good food has calories.
You go girl! You just keep inspiring all of us!
Great job! I hear ya with the portion sizes! Sometimes the food is just too good.
Congrat Tracy! Amazing results! You have to be so pleased with yourself and your plan. Simple but not easy, right?
Nice job! Is that a new all time low for you?
Rock on Tracy!
la saun,
I'll be posting my weekly workout strategy soon. But I can tell you that I'm adding the 16kg back in, (and heavier), but in a limited way.
marti,
That was the "hidden" point of the blogpost with the two apples representing the "old" me and the "new" me.....apples are healthy, but no food is healthy if overeaten!
Thanks Aims!
Hey, what's almost as good as riding a motorcycle? Getting some bad ass designer motorcycle boots! (blog post to come, lol)...I'm such a "wanna-be", LOL! I guess that bike's parked for the next few months though, huh?
Kori,
The food is always too good! Except the muffins....the muffin tops, lol!
Renee,
I am pleased and relieved. But I'm no so sure simplicity was the name of this game..... It took quite a bit more than calories in, calories out, and I'll be breifly writing about more details in the near future.
Franz,
I consistently weighed about 128-129lbs. for 2 years and then the swelling in the weeks post op from my surgery in December kept my weight up around 136lbs, and it's been a vicious cycle for months now.
I've been as low as 123lbs. and that was not pretty! I'm hoping to maintain 128lbs again. That's the weight that feels good, especially for my yoga pratice.
Tracy...
NICE!
Out of curiosity...why the increased carbs? I thought they made you retain water? I had a school retreat last weekend about people's relationship with food. Supposedly the key is not what we eat but how we eat it. Having positive feelings about the food and viewing it as nourishment is more important than the calories and nutrients. Talk about confusing!!
Tori,
I always fault my eating, not what I eat (the food), that's why I started Food and Thought. I also forgot a few other important diet changes....and I just posted them with this weeks weight.
The increased carbs were a strategy to satisfy my actual physical hunger from all of the training I do, it worked! This crazy "no-carb" crap that we all got caught up in, me included, is o-v-e-r!
well what to say ..You are such a awesome person ..Keep Going ......
