This picture is dedicated to Christine, who was so brave to post her before picture and as promised, here's another before and after photo of me.
The picture on the bottom was taken at Eastertime only 3 years ago, the picture on the top was taken about an hour ago It's amazing what the body and mind can accomplish. It's never too late to make miracles happen.
I remember losing the first 20 pounds because I could finally get my wedding ring back on my finger. (Notice, I'm not wearing it in the "before" picture)

ReplyDeleteDamn woman!
Thanks for the inspiration. Royce is kicking my butt thus far, losing seven pounds in a week and a half to my one pound. I'll get him though! :)
Hiya Tracy, both you and Mark are true inspirations! I'm new to kettlebells but not a day goes by now that I don't check out yours and Mark's blogs. You are both amazing people be honest and share like you do and I just wanted to know that you are appreciated for it. Keep up the good training! And congrats on the SSST.
ReplyDeleteChristine, How long is the bet going on? You better have a plan!I know you can do it, men always lose faster, but we women have endurance.
ReplyDeleteHe'll start getting hungry! Those long walks in the sun can make a person want to eat! LOL
I know both of you will do well.
Tracy, I'm on atkins, I'm adding two days of "cardio" in between the WSB stuff I do for PLing.
ReplyDeleteI'm diabetic, so there's a roadblock too.
But it's downhill, I'm gathering steam! :)
Howie, Thanks for your comments.
ReplyDeleteWe all need inspiration, and hearing from someone new always gives me more to keep going.
Tracy,
ReplyDeleteI've recently caught the kettlebell bug and have really loved reading your journal. I started out at about the same weight and am half way to goal (have been stuck for over a year). I've been inspired by your high level of commitment and recently started journaling again and using kettlebells. I'm hopeful this combo will get me back to losing again. Thanks for the inspiration.
PS. I tried the "Fat Loss Circuit" posted in the Giryastrength article about you. Ouchie!!
WOW - Simply amazing and inspiring!
ReplyDeleteVery Inspiring Tracy
ReplyDeleteCI
You look STUNNING!
ReplyDeleteI will send my ladies to this blog when they start giving me excuses! There are no excuses after reading your blog.
Unbelievable!
Wow Tracy - that is a wholesale, life altering change in a little more than a year. Makes my 25lbs or so to go pale in comparison.
ReplyDeleteI answered your comment with a blog entry on the topic of what I am doing with the caveats that what works for me may not work for your male client, what works for me now might not work for me later, and what I am doing is not terribly scientific.
Sharon, As you know consistency is key. Keep swinging, swing your ass off, literally! LOL
ReplyDeleteKeep in touch, let me know when you reach goal. Don't be surprised if your goal changes though. Once you see the possiblilties, you can take it as far as you want to. My original goal was 145lbs, and look at me now! Tracy
Brett, Cate, Thanks
ReplyDeleteLauren, Thank you for such a enthusiastic compliment!
ReplyDeleteAny clients you might have need to understand, and SEE that this can be done, and you can help have similar success too. Your knowledge with nutrition and ability to teach KB's!! Great combination! No excuses!
