Out of the last 10 days I've had nearly all of them perfectly planned, the exception being Saturday's cooking class. I'm hoping to be lean and mean again by my 18 week post op date. I believe this Friday will be 11 or 12 weeks.

I'll be posting more about my food and diet in the next few days , because alot has been going on...in the best of ways!

Life is so good!

  2. Tracy, I love your food posts so I'm looking forward to them.

Question about oats - do you cook a batch of them several days in advance? I've been wondering about that as on option to making a fresh small batch every day.

    thanks.

  3. Tamikka,

I like bleu cheese well enough, but I can't say that I love it! Fawn loves cheese, especially bleu, so I have much leftover....you'll be seeing alot of it in my food for a couple of weeks!

I do like it mixed with something sweet like fruit.

  4. teresa,

I usually make one serving at a time....2 cups water to 1/4 c. steel cut oats. But I usually make it early, like 5 am and I don't eat it until at least 10am...so I guess it's not really "fresh".

I like to make one serving at a time to keep the serving size "honest".

If I choose to eat something different for one of my meals, I just save it for the next day.
