Guest Blogging @ Jens Gym

I was asked to write a post about how health and fitness has become a lifestyle for me, so check out Jens Gym, http://jensgym.blogspot.com/

Jen trains Crossfit and although I don't use that method to stay in shape, my kettlebell training has conditioned me in a way to do or try almost any physical activity with confidence. How lucky am I?

  1. Great blog post over there, Tracy. I've heard a lot about Cross Fit, and even thought about trying it. What are your thoughts on it? Jen

  2. Hey Jenn, I'm not an "only Crossfit will work Kinda person". I believe in functional movement. I love Kettlebells. Ever since the frist day I picked one up I know it was a friendship that would last forever. I say if something gets you moving and fit with functionality go for it, give it a try!
If Tracy came to a Crossfit workout she would kickass and take names!

  3. Jenn,

As you know I have many thoughts! But, my main priority these past few years has been results...results for what? Fat loss, muscular definition and conditioning. Kettlebells do that for me, better than any other method of training, along with convenience, variety, and prgressiveness. Blah, blah, blah!

But.... this next year will be different for me...I'll be writing a blog post about my thoughts and plans about my training for 2008!

  4. jen,

As I just mentioned in my previous comment response, I'm looking forward to broadening my physical training this next year. I'll be training for my level 2 RKC which includes pull-ups and pistols, amongst other things!

Maybe a little Crossfit could fit into my schedule!

  9. Anthony,

I have been meaning to post more before, and transitional, photos, the hard part is that up until recently I didn't have a digital camera, and I don't know how to use the scanner!!! I'm going to solve that problem soon....like before the first of the year.

    Thanks for the compliment!
